We attended Connecting for Children & Families‘ Vision of Hope dinner honoring Tony Maione, President and CEO of United Way of Rhode Island. Tony Maione received CCF’s Visionary Award for his efforts to improve the lives of families in Northern Rhode Island.

The event featured a very impressive silent auction, overlooked the beautiful greens of Kirkbrae Country Club, and had a few notable speakers. Honorary Chair John Gregory, President and CEO of the Northern Rhode Island Chamber of Commerce welcomed everyone to the dinner, and ABC 6’s Alana Cerrone emceed the event.

Keynote speaker, Senator Jack Reed, graced the crowd with an inspiring and passionate speech about Connecting for Children & Families and the great things they’ve accomplished. The night touched the hearts of everyone in attendance, as we heard stories of people who turned to CCF when they needed help and didn’t know where else to turn.

Not only did we celebrate Tony Maione’s dedication to the community, but during the dinner CCF raised over $10,000 in donations. This money will support their ongoing quest to give children the basic building blocks they need for a successful life.

We’re honored to work with such a great organization like CCF. At the end of the day, it’s great to know that they will continue to give hope to children and families who need it.
